Swagat

I have lived in Greenburgh for four years and I have long since found my favorites for each sort of cuisine I enjoy - Favorite Breakfast and coffee delivery, favorite Thai, favorite pizza, & favorite Indian. I have been committed to Swagat for Indian and when I have been invited to eat at one of the other Indian restaurants in the area, not one comes close. Swagat is absolutely the best Indian food, the restaurant employees, delivery drivers included, couldn't be nicer, more polite, professional, & EFFICIENT. The delivery drivers that Swagat employ are the most unfalteringly polite and when I lived in a Tarrytown apartment complex that no GPS will find successfully. Every other restaurant delivery for a full year of my living there would call to announce they'd given up, or they'd expect me to direct them with no clue where they were & a few times I had to walk around trying to find them while they complained about how difficult to find the delivery address. Swagat arrived early, and I was so surprised that I asked if it was difficult to find me. The driver told me that they always look online before they leave to make sure that they aren't foiled by a navigation system. The food is not merely delicious, but it arrives as hot as if it were plated & brought to the table in the restaurant. Which is usually not the case with delivery. The price is right, I'm single and a yoga instructor - the other Indian restaurants on grubhub have delivery minimums from $30-55!!! Crazy. Swagat is the best Indian food in the area and of the 25 years I've been alive I've been eating Indian food for 22 of those years. I have been a million places in that time, not just in NY or America, and Swagat is about 100 times better than even the 5 Indian restaurants in England that were in Zagat & local guides and articles on the best restaurants. Nothing compares to Swagat! I love you guys!

The only thing that I could have asked to be better is that I wish the restaurant would have updated the status of the order. I was about to hop a shower because the status didn't say that it was out for delivery when I got the knock on the door 15 minutes before the estimated delivery time.

Trust me, that's absolutely not a complaint! Everything was perfect! Awesome food, friendly delivery, and FAST service! This was my very first GrubHub order. Thank you, Swagat, for impressing me!

Always a great option! Probably one of the best Indian restaurants in this area. I've tried the ones in the neighboring towns and none are as good as Swagat. Always order from here when I'm in the mood for Indian. The food is fresh, very delicious! Ives never been disappointed and the staff and owner are super accommodating and friendly.

Mr.Muhammad is dwlight always gets the order correct and ensures to be clear on what's the order in addition he has a great disposition. A real sweetheart and professional as are the two delivery men. One young man who is always on time and Bob who is delight.

Excellent! Orders are always on time and hot and tasty. The naan is so good, especially the garlic. The rice is always so tasty. I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend loves lamb and we always find the perfect balance here

Were frequent customers. Everything we order for ourselves and friends is good and is always delivered well before the given delivery time. Once in a blue well get a meal thats not great just good, but thats to be expected in any restaurant. Highly recommend the tikki masala and the samosas.

Big fan of Swagat's food. Being from Britain, a lot of Indian food in the US isn't quite what I'm used to, being often South Indian influenced. Swagat's menu is much closer to the North Indian style I'm used to. I particularly recommend the lamb passanda.

Wow! Very impressed with how great the food was from Swagat. I ordered samosas, paneer tikka masala, and masala dosa. Everything was flavorful and delicious. My order arrived very quickly and was piping hot when it got to me. Will definitely order again.

Input in an old address (by accident) and they still delivered, albeit with some hesitation. Very good food so glad they did.

Wow the food was great today! Definitely a step up from the last time we've eaten there. Whatever you're doing, keep it up!!!
